Unfortunate Sequence Of Events

Upon writing these words I am faced with the unfortunate truth that once the following timer expires I will be sent to a far away land to defend freedoms that long ago were deemed necessary human rights. I think we are all quite quick to forget. Yet, I am placed in a delicate situation where, not only am I forced to remember them daily, I am going to defend them.

I watch this clock daily, I am saddened at how little control we have over time....
